Simple and effective, the yarn crab is a good crossover permit or bonefish pattern for targeting fish in the 1-4 feet of water zone. Strip it long and slow or with subtle ticks to imitate a fleeing crab. Fish the natural over sandy bottoms, and the olive or turtle grass or mottled bottom.
